Our Mission
Life School’s mission is to provide love, hope, and residential education for children from homes affected by HIV, addiction & displacement.
Life School began as a day school in June 2013 and evolved significantly in 2015 into a residential school. Today our campus can accommodate 150 boys and girls, providing education and a nurturing environment for our children.

Our Founders
Life School was founded by The Mathews, the founders of Life Challenge International, an organization dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome addiction and life challenges.
Established as a day school in June 2013, Life School expanded to include residential facilities after the founders encountered an HIV-orphaned child facing discrimination during a 2014 outreach in Bishnupur, Manipur. This experience inspired the creation of Residential Life School, with campus dormitories for boys and girls. The school has since transformed numerous children’s lives, with the founders relocating from the United States to Manipur for a year in 2016 to provide additional support.
Kakching Life School is located in Kakching town in the North East Indian State of Manipur. It is a social development initiative of Life Challenge Manipur, which is a project of Life Challenge India, registered with the Government of India under the Indian Trusts Act 1882 (Reg. No. #284/04-05).
