Admission Criteria
Kakching Life School is a special school for the special children of Manipur. Boarding & lodging is ONLY available for qualified children from homes affected by addiction or HIV or any other life controlling issues.
The application process includes the following steps
Step 1 – Family Interview
The interview process of KLS involves an interview with the student’s family to determine eligibility of admission. If either parent is struggling with addiction, KLS strongly urges the parent to seek help at the residential or outreach program at Kakching Life Challenge or any other program of Life Challenge India.
Step 2 – Scholarship Determination
FULL Scholarship is available to children who meet the following criteria:
1. Orphans: both parents have died because of HIV & addiction
2. HIV Affected or infected children, on ART Medication
3. Children of HIV widows
4. Neglected or abandoned – from homes affected by HIV / Addiction
