Don’t our beautiful children look dashing smart in their brand new uniforms?!!

Well it took nearly 3 months to get here.

First came the outreach and recruitment stage on the Manipur / Myanmar border areas.

Life Challenge outreach teams traveled to mountainous village areas to find children who were eligible to come to Life School.

Next the families who were selected had to bring necessary documents and register at the Government Child Welfare offices and obtain an official referral to Life School. Rightfully so, the Government has strict policies regarding children’s homes and orphanages.

Life Challenge Manipur and Life School are registered institutions fulfilling all Government regulations. The registration process itself took nearly 2 years.

After arriving at the school, the children completed a detailed admission process.

Many hadn’t been to regular school and there were some initial challenges with discipline and acclimatizing with the Life School schedule and community.

Then came, assigning the children to their residential dorms & classrooms, supplying books and uniforms.

Our patient teachers are working hard to integrate these precious children into the lifestyle of the school, discipline and education, something that all children deserve!
