Child Recruitment

Jan 10, 2018

Life Challenge Outreach teams have visited the remote villages & towns on the India – Myanmar border to recruit children from homes affected by HIV & addiction.

The teams visit homes and communities to meet with the children and their parents or guardians. The children must meet one of the 4 categories of qualification for Life School:

  1. Orphaned by HIV or addiction
  2. Child of HIV or addiction widow
  3. Children affected or infected by HIV
  4. Abandoned or children from homes affected by HIV or addiction.

After being selected by Life School, the children have to report to the local Child Welfare Commission office,  and obtain a referral letter from the Government. Life School is registered with the Government as a care provider for affected children.
